ABOUT THE RECORDS  ON THIS WEB SITE

Most of the information on the Pamber Heath Archives web site has been transcribed by me from records or newspapers that are already available to the general public free of charge at libraries, county record offices, the National Archives, the British Library and other institutions in the United Kingdom. Public sector information includes that which is still under copyright but made available under the Open Government Licence v1.0. The remaining records were transcribed from various other sources and by kind permission if still in copyright. Copyright has expired for many of the items published on this web site and therefore they are now in the public domain. Photographs were obtained with the kind permission of their owners. No original images or transcriptions produced by online pay-to-view web sites appear on this site. Accuracy is estimated to be very high but there may be the odd few errors and therefore no guarantees can be given, particularly as many of the old records are illegible and difficult to transcribe. A huge amount of effort and time has been spent by me personally over many years in researching and transcribing records for this web site and I know that many users appreciate the work that I have done.
